The Serbian film "Montevideo, God Bless You" was aired on the China movie channel CCTV-6 as a prime time show on Saturday, 3 August 2013. It was the first time a contemporary Serbian film was broadcast by Chinese state television.
Before the film went on air, a twenty-minute programme "The Best Movies" told a story about the "Montevideo" movie making, about Serbia, and gave a short account of the history of Yugoslavia and Serbia, coupled with sports and movie successes in the former Yugoslavia and present-day Serbia.
The film was followed by four critics and journalists and people who visited Serbia giving their positive impressions and views about our country as a modern and desirable tourist destination.
