vasingtonIn May 2013, the Serbian Institute was established in Washington D.C. The Institute brings together influential representatives of Serbian and Greek diaspora living in the United States, for the purpose of disseminating to the American public more substantive information about developments in the Balkan region.

The paramount objective of this institution is to establish close cooperation with the U.S. media and with the governmental and non-governmental organizations in order to „strengthen, defend and promote Serbian and democratic values, principles and interests".

This organization is led by Ms. Danijela Sremac. Many prominent individuals like Aleksa Macanski, David Vujic, Predrag Pajic, Branko Terzic, Obrad Kesic, Branko Tupanjac, Jasmina Vujic, Elefterios Michael and others take part in the activity of the Serbian Institute.
