After successfully performing in Boston, New York and Washington, at the end of her American tour, Primadonna Jadranka Jovanovic accompanied by Professor Nikola Rackov, held a recital with friends, in a full Serbian St. Sava Church Hall in New York, on 22 June 2013.
At the beginning J. Jovanovic greeted the audience and thanked them for the great support and assistance she received from the Serbian St. Sava Church and the Consulate General in New York. J. Jovanovic's voice and her repertoire were once again admired by those in attendance. She performed an array of different musical genres and a part of the repertoire she performed in concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington on 10 July. Her friends at the concert, Jana Petrovic, a seven-year-old pianist, Joe Moller, a writer, Ilija Saula, a poet, Jasna Popovic, a pianist, Boris Loncarevic, a guitarist and other friends, also enjoyed great support from the audience. The concert was very successful, imbued with a homely atmosphere and the spirit of Serbian culture being felt all through, as well as the warmth of the homeland. |
