The concert that this Orchestra held in the main lobby of the Council of Europe, on 25 June, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., was a success. The Mission and the Consulate participated in the organization of the concert and hence the invitations were sent to the diplomatic and consular corps, representatives of French institutions and our citizens (clubs, students, etc.). The concert was watched (temporarily or continuously) by about a hundred people, including members of the delegations that attended the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Therefore, this event was attended by more people than the concert of the same orchestra held last December. The holding of the concert during the session of PACE was a much more appropriate occasion for such a cultural event.
Our ensemble received all necessary logistical assistance and support and at the end of the concert, a vernissage was organized for the ensemble members and guests.
