morocco-flagThe Moroccan International Cooperation Agency wrote a letter to the Serbian Embassy offering 15 scholarships for students from Serbia wishing to study at Moroccan state universities in the academic year 2013/2014.
It was pointed out in particular that courses of study of science, technology and economics at most higher education institutions in Morocco are conducted in French and that candidates outside the French-speaking countries who do not command this language are obliged to devote the first year of their study to learning French at the International Foreign Languages Institute in Rabat. Once they successfully pass the language exam, they will be free to apply for a study programme of their choice, in line with the necessary requirements and available places. For more information on Moroccan higher educational institutions, their admission criteria, duration of study programmes and degrees obtained from them, please visit the Agency website at www.amci.ma.

Deadline for the submission of files by candidates is 10 August 2013

Study courses will begin, depending of the educational institution concerned, in the first week of September 2013 through 1 October 2013, when French courses will be organized.

Successful candidates will have to be in possession of a long-stay visa (student visa), medical certificate of immunization against infectious and contagious diseases, in particular TB, and should pay 900 dirhams (approx. 85 euros) as charges for the opening of a student file, and a letter confirming their healthcare the modalities of which will be subsequently explained in a notice.

More detailed information on educational institutions, procedures and formalities related to enrolment in Morocco is available at the websites of the Agency (www.amci.ma), Ministry in charge of higher education, science, research and personnel training (www.enssup.gov.ma and www.dfc.gov.ma), and the Ministry of National Education (www.men.gov.ma).

The Agency has provided full information on various aspects of nomination of candidates, study programmes, terms of acceptance, diploma equivalency, examination of files, enrolment modalities, scholarships, terms and conditions of stay, etc., including the application form for academic 2013/2014.
