Serbian Cultural Days in Paris

parisThe event Serbian Cultural Days in Paris, organized by the Serbian diaspora in France and sponsored by the Office for Cooperation with Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, opened at the residence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, on 1 June 2013. 
The event was attended by Predrag Perunicic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Youth and Sport; Rastko Jankovic, Assistant Director of the Office for Cooperation with Diaspora and Serbs in the Region; and by Vesna Removic, Advisor in the Ministry of Culture and Information.
In order to ensure better knowledge of each other and further cooperation between diaspora and the mother country, on Sunday, 2 June 2013, a meeting was held at which representatives of the diaspora informed officials of the Republic of Serbia about existing clubs, associations and their activities, etc. Considering that the demands of the diaspora were mainly related to financial assistance by the mother country, officials of the Republic of Serbia have invited chairmen of clubs and associations to Belgrade in order to jointly review programmes and projects that could become part of their further joint cooperation.
The meeting was attended, on behalf of the Serbian Embassy, by Branislava Becanovic, First Secretary. The event will close on 9 June 2013.
