Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic talked on the telephone with his Slovak colleague Miroslav Lajcak, focusing on the Brussels agreement between Belgrade and Pristina. As said in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Slovak Foreign Minister offered assurances to Minister Mrkic that Slovakia would not abandon its position never to recognize the so-called state of Kosovo, and Minister Mrkic thanked him for this principled stance.   As also stated, Ministers Mrkic and Lajcak exchanged all available current information, especially those relating to the agreement between Belgrade and Pristina, the conduct of negotiations on the implementation of the agreement and its impact upon the strengthened position of Serbia in Europe and the world.
