The ceremony of presentation of decorations to the PR of China's Ambassadors, H.E. Mr. Li Guobang and H.E. Mr. Wei Jinghua, who during their professional careers served in the Republic of Serbia several times and who contributed to the development of friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the PR of China during their tenures, took place on the premises of the Serbian Embassy in Beijing, on 18 April 2013. 

In the presence of some 80 invitees (officials of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, CPC, university Professors, economic representatives of the Republic of Serbia) and the media (Chinese Radio International, Guanming daily, Global Times, Chinaworld, Home and Abroad New Press), the Order of the Serbian Flag, 2nd Class, was presented to the decorated Ambassadors by State Secretary Ms. Vera Mavric.

The ceremony was opened by Ms. Tatjana Panajotovic-Cvetkovic, Charge d'Affaires ad interim of the Serbian Embassy in Beijing, and State Secretary Mavric said a few words about the important contribution made by Ambassadors Guobang and Jinghua in the development and strengthening of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the People's Republic of China.

After the reading of the President of the Republic's Ordinance and the presentation of decorations, the receiving Ambassadors made their remarks to the guests in attendance, expressing their appreciation for the honours conferred on them.
