Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic signed the agreement between the two Governments on cooperation in combating organized crime and the agreement on legal assistance in civil and criminal matters.

The delegation headed by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic was on an official two-day visit to Belarus.

"We will make an effort to create a basis for a completely new form of a much better cooperation than before", said President Nikolic. He emphasized that by this visit to Belarus, Serbia wished to demonstrate that it continued along the same road it had trodden for decades already, the road of cooperation with the whole world.
