Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic will visit the Republic of Macedonia on 17-18 February, at the invitation of his Macedonian counterpart Nikola Poposki.

Minisister Mrkic will be received by Macedonian President Djordje Ivanov and Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.

Talks will be focused on all efforts aimed at enhancing the good-neighbourly relations and cooperation, as well as on ways and means of intensifying trade cooperation between the two countries. The visit will serve as a fresh impetus to the already very active political dialogue going on between Belgrade and Skopje.

The two Ministers will sign the Agreement between the Governments of Serbia and Macedonia on Cooperation in the Context of the European Integration Process and the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Macedonia on gainful occupation of dependants of the staff of their diplomatic missions and consular posts.
