Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic met today with the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Ambassador Knut Vollebaek, who is on a working visit for a few days to the Republic of Serbia.

Minister Mrkic extended full support for the activities of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities and thanked Ambassador Vollebaek for his personal engagement on issues of immediate concern to Serbia.

High Commissioner Vollebaek informed Minister Mrkic about the talks that he had over the last few days in eastern and southern Serbia and expressed his satisfaction with the activities that the Republic of Serbia had undertaken, as well as with its approach to matters of interest to the national minorities living in it.
