Bilateral political consultations were conducted at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the framework of the visit by the Under-Secretary for Foreign Policy of the MFA of the Argentine Republic, Ambassador María del Carmen Squeff, on 8 October 2012.On the Serbian side, consultations were headed by the Assistant Minister for Bilateral Cooperation, Ambassador Goran Aleksic. Most important bilateral and multilateral issues were discussed and views exchanged on the current political and economic situation in the two countries and their respective regions. The closeness of positions and continuity of friendly relations between the two countries were confirmed. The Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Argentine Republic on the performance of remunerated activities for the dependants of the diplomatic, consular, administrative and technical staff of their respective diplomatic missions and consular posts was signed during the meeting between Ambassador María del Carmen Squeff and the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Vera Mavric.
