Serbia received a bronze award for its contribution to the Strategic Approach to International Chemical Management (SAICM) 2009-2012. The award was presented during the Third Session of the International Conference on Chemical Management (ICCM3) which was held in Nairobi, from 17 to 21 September 2012.

This prestigious award of the professional community was given to Serbia for its outstanding contribution to the process of Strategic Approach to International Chemical Management, especially the role played by it in the further development of this process, and for its support in organizing the First Meeting of the SAICM Working Group, which was held in Belgrade, from 15 to 18 November 2011.
