Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkic continued yesterday a series of bilateral meetings during this year's UN General Assembly session.

Minister Mrkic met yesterday with his colleagues from Egypt Mohammed Amr, from Norway Espen Barth Eide, and from Montenegro Nebojsa Kaludjerovic. Minister Mrkic had particularly thorough talks with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thørbjorn Jagland, and he agreed an exchange of visits at the highest level with the MFA of Ukraine Konstantin Grishchenko.

In the course of today Minister Mrkic is due to continue his bilateral meetings with, among others, the MFA of Albania Edmond Panariti, and of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov with whom he will sign two cooperation agreements between Serbia and Russia.
