Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Mrkić met today with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčak.

Further involvement of the Serbian Government on the road towards EU integration and the future negotiating platform for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina were the main topics on today's agenda.

Minister Mrkić reiterated Serbia's commitment to EU membership and informed his guests about the activities of Belgrade in meeting the conditions for starting negotiations with Brussels.

Deputy Prime Minister Lajčak conveyed the full support of Slovakia to the activities of the Serbian Government on the road to full EU membership.
