The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia strongly condemns the attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi and the killing of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other US Embassy staff in Libya.

The Republic of Serbia welcomes the rapid response and condemnation of the attack by the Libyan authorities and expresses its belief that the leadership and people of Libya will stop extremists from preventing further democratic development of the country.
