Thessaloniki, May 2012 - At the 9th International Book Fair in Thessaloniki, 24-27 May 2012, Serbia was an honour guest. Serbian Minister of Culture, Media and Information Society Predrag Markovic attended the official opening of the Fair. The Serbian stand presented the greats of Serbian literature and Serbian national epic and lyrical ballads, whilst Serbian folk fairytales were interpreted by a Greek actress at the Byzantine Museum. Throughout the Fair there were discussions organized by the Serbian stand with Serbian authors like Dusan Kovacevic, Vida Ognjenovic, Dragan Velikic, Vladislav Bajec, Svetislav Basara and others.
