Visits

President of the Republic of Serbia T. Nikolic met with President of the Republic of South Africa J. Zuma in Moscow, when they attended the military parade on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of victory over Nazi Germany (May 2015), and they also met at the Paris Climate Change Conference (November 2015).

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Ms. Baleka Mbete made an official visit to the Republic of Serbia in September 2015.

The Republic of South Africa does not recognize Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence, and during the 38th session of UNESCO's General Conference it voted against so-called "Kosovo's" membership bid.

On the occasion of the Serbian Statehood Day, on 15 February 2016, President of the Republic of Serbia T. Nikolic conferred on President of the Republic of South Africa Jacob Zuma the Order of the Republic of Serbia on a Sash.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia visited the Republic of South Africa in August 2010.

In 2015, Serbian exports amounted to EUR 2,731,000, and imports stood at EUR 8,455,000.
In 2012, Serbian exports amounted to € 864 000, and imports to € 9.1 million.
