DPM and MFA I. Dačić met a Malaysian DPM and MFA A. Aman in New York (26 August, 2016)
Former Foreign Minister V. Jeremic had bilateral meetings with Foreign Minister of Malaysia A. Aman on the fringes of multilateral meetings in Bali, in May 2011 and in Geneva, in February 2012.
In September 2011, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia А. Аman participated at the Commemorative Ministerial Meeting of NAM in Belgrade. On that occasion he had bilateral meetings with the then President B. Tadic and Foreign Minister V. Jeremic.
Former Minister of Foreign Affairs V. Jeremic visited Malaysia in August 2008. 

Economic relations:

In 2017, trade in goods amounting to EUR 45,2 million was recorded, of which exports from the RS amounted to EUR 3,3 million, and imports from Malaysia to EUR 41,9 million.

In 2016, the total value of trade amounted to EUR 32.6 million, exports from Serbia amounting to EUR 2.0 million, and imports to Serbia EUR 30.6 million.
