Visits

  • President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic attended the ceremony of transferring Presidential powers in Argentina, on 10 December 2015, when he met President-Elect Mauricio Macri, Vice President of Argentina Gabriela Michetti and Foreign Minister Susana Malcorra.
  • FDPM and MFA Ivica Dacic made an official visit to Argentina between 25 and 26 November 2014, on which occasion he met Vice President of Argentina Amado Boudou, Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers Jorge Capitanich, Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman and Chairman of the International Relations and Worship Committee of the Chamber of Deputies Guillermo Carmona. The Agreement on Cooperation in the Areas of Culture and Education, as well as the Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation, were signed during the visit.
  • Foreign Policy Undersecretary at the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs Carolina Pérez Colman visited Belgrade on 22 June 2015, in order to take part in political consultations between the two MFAs.
  • Undersecretary for foreign policy of the MFA of Argentina Maria del Carmen Squeff visited Belgrade on October 7-9, 2012.
  • Then Minister of Foreign Affairs V. Jeremic visited Argentina in June 2012. Then Minister of Foreign Affairs V. Jeremic previously visited Buenos Aires in April 2008.


Economic relations:


In 2015, exports amounted to EUR 2.2 million, and imports to EUR 17.4 million. In the period from January to September 2016, exports were EUR 1.42 million, and imports EUR 13.41 million. 

During the visit of FDMP/MFA Dačić to Argentina in November 2014, the Agreement on Cooperation in the Fields of Culture and Education, and the Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation were signed.
