Vensan DezerForeign Minister Ivan Mrkic and Secretary General of the Serbian Government Veljko Odalovic have formally submitted the government's Conclusion on the need for urgent continuation of the EU-facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina to Head of the EU Delegation in Belgrade Vincent Degert.

Degert immediately forwarded the conclusions onto EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, as confirmed by Minister Mrkic, and announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mrkic and Odalovic explained in detail Serbia's position to Degert, noting that Serbia is dissatisfied with what has been achieved so far, says the press release.

The Serbian Government authorized Minister Mrkic and Secretary General Odalovic to inform the EU about the conclusion that was adopted by the Government at its meeting.

Previously, the Government made a unanimous decision not to accept the offered solution for Kosovo and Metohija and proposed continuation of the dialogue without delay.

The conclusion, on the basis of which Lady Catherine Ashton is to make a decision on the continuation of dialogue, states that the Government reaffirms its commitment to find a negotiated, peaceful and sustainable solution, which would make a solid basis for building lasting peace and security for all inhabitants of Kosovo.
