Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selakovic extended expressions of condolences to Austrian citizens and Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg, in the wake of last night's terrorist attack in Vienna.

The Serbian Foreign Minister expressed support to the Republic of Austria, emphasizing the importance of solidarity in facing common challenges. Minister Selakovic described terrorism as one of the burning international challenges, which is why it is necessary to fight this evil by joint forces.

Minister Selakovic said that the Republic of Serbia stands firmly with the Republic of Austria in these most trying times and voiced his hope that the perpetrators and organizers of this heinous terrorist act will be brought to justice.
