First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic responded to the Chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Sefik Dzaferovic that it was true that he was part of the Government of Slobodan Milosevic but unlike Dzaferovic, he was not involved in war crimes.

In response to Dzaferovic's accusations that he worked hand in glove with the "criminal regime of Slobodan Milosevic" in his statement to the public, Dacic said that during the entire war he has never set his foot in Bosnia and Herzegovina nor was involved in any war crimes.

"Unlike me, Sefik Dzaferovic, which is common knowledge, was head of the Center of Security Services Zenica at a time when El Mujahideen brigade and the so-called Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the region of Ozren were decapitating Serbs, starting with the crime in Vozuca, first ISIL operation in which Serbs were decapitated in a brutal and ritual manner which was recorded on camera", Dacic said.

He said that Dzaferovic's and Izetbegovic's people actively participated in these operations, "guided by an idea of creating an Islamic state, an idea they embrace even today". He said that most of the Mujahideen were awarded Bosnia and Herzegovina citizenship, took part in many terrorist attacks around the world, including in the attacks on Twin Towers in New York. What is more, Bin Laden was even granted a Bosnian passport and all of it has been confirmed by U.S. security services. Therefore, Dacic considers that Dzaferovic's allegations actually refer more to him including his unprincipled position in connection with the territorial integrity of Serbia and other states.

"According to Dzaferovic, the fact that they cut off Serb heads with impunity implies that it is fine to cut off a part of one's territory. Dzaferovic is a hypocrite, one day he is in favor of Kosovo independence, the next day he is in favor of Azerbaijani territorial integrity, and then he threatens Republika Srpska with a war at a mention of the right to self-determination, and so on. The main thing is to be against Serbia. I say to him, Dzaferovic make no mistake, Bosnia and Herzegovina will never be a Muslim state since it is a state of equal peoples and entities. If Europe wants to make a Muslim state they are welcome to create one in their midst", Dacic said.

He enquired whether it was "not time to turn to future despite the differences and not dwell on the past all the time".

"The past could bring back many memories and the new generations cannot live their lives revisiting memories, they should live side by side and foster better mutual relations", Dacic said in conclusion.
