First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call from Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia in Belgrade Gordan Bakota.
Minister Dacic highlighted that the cooperation with Ambassador Bakota was good, despite the issues which burden the relations between the two countries.
The two interlocutors emphasized the importance of the upcoming Croatian Presidency of the EU Council, starting from 1 January 2020, primarily in the context of the enlargement policy which should be placed back on top of the EU agenda.
Ambassador Bakota stated that the Republic of Croatia will host the EU-Western Balkans Summit in Zagreb, in May 2020, to that end.
