First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Islamic Republic of Iran Dragan Todorovic.

Minister Dacic underlined the contribution made by the Serbian Embassy in Tehran and Ambassador Todorovic himself in solving the case of children taken away from their mother Slavica Burmazovic who were last week returned to her in Belgrade, after 4 years. He commended Ambassador Todorovic whose dedicated work on this issue facilitated a positive outcome of this complicated and long process, and also for personally accompanying the children on their travel by plane from Tehran to Belgrade.

The Serbian Foreign Minister underscored that this was a good example of the efforts made by the Serbian diplomatic service when our citizens abroad find themselves in need of assistance and protection.
