First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met with his counterpart, Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov, on the fringes of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

In an open and friendly talks, the two collocutors reasserted good and friendly relations between the two countries as well as the readiness to enhance bilateral cooperation and intensify political dialogue.

Both sides placed a special emphasis on the potential for promoting cooperation in the fields of economy, transport and infrastructure.

Minister Dacic invited the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan to visit the Republic of Serbia as soon as possible.
