First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic sent a telegram of condolences to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Retno Marsudi, following the plane crash of 29 October 2018.

"Following the serious accident and huge tragedy that struck the Republic of Indonesia caused by today's plane crash of the Indonesian "Lion Air" airline that took a heavy loss of 189 human lives, I extend to you the expressions of my most profound condolences and may I also ask you to convey my deepest sympathies to the bereaved families.

Please accept, Excellency, on this sad occasion, the assurances of my highest consideration", reads the telegram of condolences signed by Minister Dacic.
