First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met the Governor of the Red Sea Governorate, Major-General Ahmed Abdullah at the International Airport in Hurghada. The two collocutors discussed the promotion of bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the areas of tourism and air traffic but in other fields as well, such as construction industry, culture, water management and environmental protection.

They also conferred about the upcoming town twinning of Jagodina and Hurgada and the visit by the delegation of the Red Sea Governorate to Serbia and Jagodina in October 2018.
Minister Dacic was presented with the key and the Charter of the Honorary Citizen of Hurghada, by his host. The event was also attended by the Ambassador of Serbia to Egypt, H.E. Mr. Jugoslav Vukadinovic
