altA library with over 5,000 titles opened on 20 December 2020 in the Serbian Centre in Vienna, and the books will be available to all members of the diaspora. Serbian Ambassador to Austria Nebojsa Rodic said that libraries were already present in Serbian associations in Vienna, but that this one is the most valuable and that it represents the core of the library stock, to be available to all.

The library stock includes books partly donated by the Consular Office of the Serbian Embassy in Vienna, some were donations from the Official Gazette, while a part was gifted by the National Library of Serbia and the Belgrade City Library.

"In Vienna, a city where a large number of our compatriots lives, we now have a space where books on different topics and of various genres are available to all", Ambassador Rodic said.

Since 1995, the Serbian Centre has been an association whose goal is to promote the Serbian culture and works of artists from mother countries, but also artists who live in Austria.
