Beijing: Message by Ambassador Bacevic on the occasion of entrance exams in China

In a handwritten congratulatory note addressed to candidates applying for Chinese universities, published on Weibo social media platform, Ambassador Milan Bacevic wished to "all those preparing to gain knowledge, skills and ideas to last them a lifetime, that entrance exams be yet another engine to propel them boldly closer to their own future, that of their country and society".

The note by Ambassador Bacevic was widely reported in the media as the first Weibo post by a foreign Ambassador so far. Rénmín Rìbào Haiwainet, Global Network and other media outlets all reported on the post which received almost million and a half viewers in an hour. The comments praised our country's gesture of goodwill.
