Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church His Holiness Abune Mathias I received a courtesy call from Ambassador Aleksandar Ristic.

Patriarch Mathias I said that he was looking forward to the enhancement of cooperation between the two countries, recalling that Serbia and Ethiopia had a long-standing history of good relations, and that his church maintained a good cooperation with the Serbian Orthodox Church.
