The film "See You in Montevideo" was screened at Maldonado Cultural Centre, on 19 February, as a part of the Film Festival program, held in the town of Punta Del Este, Uruguay. Ambassador of Serbia Jela Bacovic and Director of the Festival George Jelinek presented the Serbian film at a press conference.

Ambassador Bacovic took the opportunity to have talks with Director Jelinek and Regional Director General for Culture George Cespedes who suggested that a retrospective of one Serbian movie director be organized at the next year's Festival along with the screening of several movies.

In his article for "La Nacion" daily, film critic Pablo De Vita recommended to movie-lovers as not to be missed some Serbian films, first and foremost "See You in Montevideo".
