First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić met with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla on the margins of the 69th session of the UN General Assembly.

At today's meeting, the first in a series of activities of the Minister this week in New York, the bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Cuba was assessed as excellent. On this occasion, the Serbian Foreign Minister thanked again Cuba for its support regarding the issue of Kosovo and Metohija and invited his Cuban counterpart to visit Serbia.

Minister Rodrigues Parrilla conveyed the interest of Cuba to deepen the cooperation in the fields of technology, medicine and the pharmaceutical industry. He also supported the initiative to improve the relations of Serbia with the Community of Latin-American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
