The Government of the Republic of Serbia has set its European integration as one of the most important foreign policy objectives. The entire process of creation and promotion of contractual relations with the European Union is based primarily on securing political and other conditions for an unimpeded process of EU accession, including the establishment and promotion of regional cooperation in Western Balkans. These objectives are the main areas of activity of the European Union Sector of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
