FDPM/MFA I. Dacic met Foreign Minister of New Zealand Murray McCully, in New York, on 24 February 2015, on the margins of the UNSC open debate on the maintenance of peace and security.
Foreign Minister of New Zealand Murray McCully visited Serbia between 23 and 24 June 2014, when he met FDPM/MFA I. Dacic, PM A. Vucic, President T. Nikolic and Speaker of the National Assembly M. Gojkovic. On the occasion, PM A. Vucic extended an invitation to Prime Minister of New Zealand John Key to visit the Republic of Serbia. Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of New Zealand for non-permanent membership of the UNSC Colin Keating had working-level discussions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 19-20 September 2013.
Foreign Minister V. Jeremic visited New Zealand between 30 and 31 May 2012. Former Foreign Minister V. Jeremic met Foreign Minister of New Zealand McCully on the margins of multilateral meetings in Bali, in May 2011, and in Addis Ababa, in January 2012.

Economic relations:

In 2017, trade in goods amounting to EUR 1,64 million was recorded, of which exports from the RS amounted to EUR 531.000.

The total value of trade in 2016 amounted to EUR 2.7 million, while in 2015 trade in goods amounted to EUR 1.96 million.

In the first nine months of 2016, exports from the Republic of Serbia amounted to EUR 543 000, while imports amounted to EUR 1.74 million.

In 2015, trade in goods amounted to EUR 1. 96 million (exports from the Republic of Serbia were EUR 1.14 million, imports were EUR 813 000). In 2014, trade in goods amounted to EUR 1.43 million (exports from the Republic of Serbia were EUR 787 000, imports were EUR 639 000).
