President of the Commission on Missing Persons of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Veljko Odalovic presented the work of this body, at today's regular meeting of the International Humanitarian Law Commission.

At the presentation held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Odalovic underlined the responsible approach of the Republic of Serbia to this sensitive issue, since the problem of missing persons is not only a humanitarian issue, but a state and political issue, as well.

Ambassador Bozin Nikolic pointed out that the work experience of the Commission on Missing Persons will be of great value to the International Humanitarian Law Commission that he is heading.
