skp tunis_07112017_01Consular consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tunisia, at the level of Assistant Ministers in charge of consular affairs, were held in Belgrade, on 7 November 2017.

The consultations reflected the expectation that consular relations would continue to follow and help the development trend of political and economic cooperation and that there were large opportunities for further improvement of the present cooperation and for initiating new forms of cooperation in the areas of common interest, as facilitated also by the decades-long visa liberalization dating back to 1965.

In order to further promote the cooperation and regular exchange of experiences in consular matters, especially in the provision of quality consular services to citizens of both countries, it was agreed to alternate the venue of consular consultations between the two countries and hold, as appropriate, even joint expert-level meetings.
