On 4 March 2016, Secretary-General Mr. Veljko Odalovic signed, in Serbia Palace, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia on cooperation in the professional training of diplomatic and administrative staff assigned to work on consular matters in Serbia's diplomatic and consular missions.

The State Secretary, Mr. Aleksandar Nikolic, signed the Agreement on behalf of the Ministry of Interior. The issue at hand is the implementation of activities envisaged in the framework of the EU project "Efficient monitoring of regular migration flows in the Republic of Serbia", as specified in the Chapter 24 Action Plan.

Representatives of the partner institutions and states participating in the project, i.e. the EU Delegation to the Republic of Serbia and diplomatic representatives of the Netherlands, Slovenia and Austria attended the official signing.
