Thessaloniki: Gathering of Greeks who studied in Serbia

For the third year in a row, the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia is organizing a reception for the Greeks who have studied at universities in Serbia or in the former Yugoslavia. Former Greek students in Serbia, together with the Serbian Diaspora, represent the best and strongest connection between the two countries. More than 50 former students, now professors, doctors, archaeologists, historians from all parts of Greece attended the reception.

The reception was hosted by the Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in Thessaloniki, Mr. Sinisa Pavic, who together with the Head of the Bureau of MFA of the Republic of Greece, Mr. D. Papandreou, stressed the importance of such a gathering, which contributed to better cooperation between Serbia and Greece in many areas.
