At the invitation of the President of the municipality of Rogatica T. Puhalc, Charge d'Affaires ad interim Gordana Bozic attended the ceremony in celebration of the Transfiguration of Our Lord as the Patron Saint's Day of the municipality.
The Patron Saint's Day was commemorated by a liturgy held at the Holy Trinity Church, a memorial liturgy service that was performed by breaking the Patron Saint's bread, and by the laying of wreaths at the memorial of victims of war in the 1990s. On behalf of the Serbian Embassy, the wreath was laid by Charge d'Affaires G. Bozic.
The ceremony was attended by BiH Foreign and Economic Relations Minister M. Sarovic, representatives of the Parliament of the Republic of Srpska, chief officials of the municipalities of Pale, East Sarajevo, Foca, Trnovo and others.
The ceremony of celebration of the Patron Saint's Day in the municipality of Rogatica marked the end of festivities called "Transfiguration Days, Rogatica 2013", which began on 14th August and which included a number of cultural and artistic events, a motor race, and Russian Film Days supported by the Sarajevo Embassy of the Russian Federation.
