UNICEF Office Director in Serbia Michel Saint-Lot calls on Minister Dacic to bid farewell

Ivica Dacic and Michel Saint-LotFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today on a farewell visit the UNICEF Office Director in Serbia, Michel Saint-Lot who, after less than five years, is leaving this position.

Minister Dacic commended Saint-Lot's personal engagement, understanding and devoted work in promoting the situation in our country through cooperation with the UNICEF in many areas and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Minister Dacic emphasized, in particular, the importance of the UNICEF aid provided to the most vulnerable population during the devastating floods in 2014 as well as of the efforts made by UNICEF to alleviate the suffering of the youngest migrant population and make their life easier during the migration crisis in 2015 and afterwards.

Mr. Saint-Lot briefly reminded of some of the key activities of UNICEF in the past period and thanked for the good-quality and successful cooperation with all the authorities and institutions in Serbia, expressing conviction that his successor would also be assisted and provided with the good cooperation that he himself enjoyed during his term of office in our country.
