Ministry of Foreign AffairsStatement on the meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina concerning the implementation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on mutual representation in providing consular protection and services to third countries, held on 29 August 2013, in Belgrade

A meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the mplementation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina on mutual representation in providing consular protection and services to third countries was held in Belgrade, on 29 August 2013, in accordance with the agreement reached during the consular consultations between the two countries held in Sarajevo, on 6 June 2013.
Representatives of the two countries discussed the current issues concerning the implementation of the Agreement and adopted the following conclusions:
  1. Diplomatic/consular missions of the Republic of Serbia will implement the Agreement and provide consular protection to the nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the following countries: Algeria, Angola, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Brazil, DR Congo, Republic of South Africa, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Cuba, Morocco, Mexico, Myanmar, Nigeria, R. Korea, Syria and Tunisia.The diplomatic/consular missions of Bosnia and Herzegovina will implement the Agreement and provide consular protection to the nationals of the Republic of Serbia in the following countries: Jordan, Qatar, Malaysia, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
  2. In emergencies, information may be exchanged directly between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Contracting Parties. For these purposes, the following contact information were exchanged:
  3. The Contracting Parties will exchange lists of documents required for issuing a document for the transport of human remains and carry out the necessary procedures of receiving such documents in the other Contracting Party, in accordance with the Agreement.
  4. Diplomatic/consular missions of the Contracting Parties will assist the nationals of the other Party in obtaining travel documents.
  5. Diplomatic/consular missions of the Contracting Parties will provide services related to certification of signatures, transcripts, handwritten documents, copies of documents and translations in accordance with their respective regulations and international conventions, affixing seals that are in official use in that diplomatic/consular mission.
  6. For providing consular services to nationals of the other Contracting Party, diplomatic/consular missions of the Parties will charge administrative fees and special costs in accordance with the laws and by-laws of their respective countries.
