Serbia’s participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum reflects the special attention attached to its economic cooperation with the Russian Federation

Minister Dacic at the opening stand of Serbia at the St. Petersburg ForumAfter the opening ceremony of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic opened the booth of the Republic of Serbia at the Forum.

Minister Dacic expressed his satisfaction at Serbia's participation in the St. Petersburg Forum, highlighting that the Forum offers an opportunity for reinforcing the overall trade relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Russian Federation.

The Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs underlined that, by participating in the Forum, Serbia had demonstrated once again its great attention devoted to economic cooperation with the Russian Federation, and its interest in the growing presence of Russian companies and Russian capital on the Serbian market.

Minister Dacic stressed that, while participating in the Forum, Serbia would endeavor to present all its economic potential, both to Russian and other foreign partners, to the effect of making specific business arrangements.

"The Russian Federation is our strategic political, economic and one of the foremost foreign trading partners. I wish to point out that very good political relations have ensured a stable foundation for the promotion of overall cooperation, as a result of which the Russian Federation ranks among Serbia's most important economic partners, both as a destination for Serbian exports, and as a foreign investor", underlined Minister Dacic at the opening of the Serbian booth at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
