First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal Santos Silva, in the margins of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, held in Nicosia.


In the talks, the officials underlined the historically close ties existing between the two countries marking the 135th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic expressed his deep gratitude for the true support extended by Portugal to Serbia's European integration process.

Support was expressed to further cooperation in international organizations, agreeing on the two Ministers exchanging visits in the period to come.
