The interlocutors emphasized the long-standing friendly relations dating back to the Tito era. The Korean official expressed support for the efforts of the Serbian people to preserve the territorial integrity of Serbia and conveyed the wish for intensifying contacts between the two countries, both in the global political arena and in bilateral economic relations.

The Serbian Foreign Minister underlined the existence of double standards in the modern world, and in this context expressed gratitude to his Korean colleague for the principled position when it comes to non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo and Metohija.

The officials exchanged opinions on other current issues, such as human rights.
