First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the Director of the Regional Centre of the Migration, Asylum and Refugees Regional Initiative (MARRI), Ambassador Tamara Mugosa who took office on 1 August 2015, as the candidate of Montenegro.

At today’s meeting, Ambassador Mugosa informed Minister Dacic of the MARRI Action Plan and its priorities for the coming year.

Given the growing problem related to migrant issues and the need for addressing them, as they affect Serbia and Macedonia more than any other regional and MARRI participating country, the meeting focused on the current migrant crisis, as well as mechanisms available to MARRI to alleviate its adverse effects.
