Minister Dacic at the opening of “EXPO 2015” universal exhibition in Milan

DSC 0024First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, accompanied by Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic, attended today the opening of “Expo 2015” universal exhibition in Milan, titled “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life” and opened for visitors until 31 October.

Registered for participation at the world’s most important event of this kind are 144 countries, with the expected arrival of more than 21 million visitors from all over the world.

Over the period of six months, Serbia will continuously, through various events, present its economic sectors, content related to science and innovations, tourist offer and food and wine, aiming to promote the historical heritage, culture, tradition, investment and tourism potentials, and also its trade opportunities.

The organizers envisage 20 million visitors during a six-month period and a net income of USD 10 million as an incentive to the Italian economy through revenues from tourism and increased investment.
