DS 1Students of the Fourth Class of Advanced Security and Defence Studies at the Military Academy of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 4 February.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Roksanda Nincic introduced the students of the Advanced Studies to the scope of work and the current tasks of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the implementation of foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Serbia. Issues related to bilateral relations between the countries of the Western Balkans, the security policy (participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Common Security and Defence Policy of the European Union, cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and NATO through the Partnership for Peace program) were also discussed, as well as activities in international forums and initiatives in the fields of disarmament, proliferation and arms export control.
Advanced Security and Defence Studies are the highest level of professional training in the Serbian military education system. In addition to representatives of the Foreign and Defence Ministries, Serbian Armed Forces and other institutions of the Republic of Serbia, attendants of this year's study program are also representatives from the civilian and military structures.
