Minister Dacic talks with U. S. Senator Murphy about potential investments in Serbia

Dacic - Murphy First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the Chairman of the Subcommittee on European Affairs of the U.S. Senate Christopher Murphy, with whom he talked about further enhancement of bilateral cooperation, political dialogue, and economic relations between the two countries.

The interlocutors agreed that the role of U.S. Congress was important for further development of relations between the two countries. Senator Murphy added that Congress was interested in multilateral cooperation with Serbia through OSCE, in the course of the Serbian 2015 OSCE Chairmanship.

Senator Murphy said that he was interested in the enhancement of economic cooperation with the Republic of Serbia, especially with regard to potential investments coming from the State of Connecticut, which the Senator represents in Congress.
