First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić welcomed the agreement on ceasefire in Ukraine, expressing the hope that it would mark the beginning of a peace process where open issues would be resolved through dialogue.

In view of the fact that a significant role in reaching the ceasefire agreement was played by the OSCE, Serbia expressed its readiness to make its utmost effort, as the OSCE Chair-in-Office in 2015, to preserve peace and assist in the negotiation process pending the reaching of a solution that would be acceptable for all the parties.
